Terms and Conditions – Kids Classes

These Terms and Conditions apply specifically to children’s dance classes provided by Viva School of Dance. By enrolling a child in our classes, the parent or legal guardian agrees to the terms set out below.
1. About Us
Viva School of Dance is an Irish-based dance school providing structured dance classes for children across multiple locations in Dublin.
All children’s classes are designed to be safe, age-appropriate and delivered by qualified and experienced dance instructors.
2. Enrolment and Registration
All children must be registered for classes by a parent or legal guardian. By completing a registration or booking, the parent or guardian confirms that all information provided is accurate and up to date.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel enrolment if inaccurate information is provided or if class capacity limits are reached.
3. Class Attendance
Regular attendance is encouraged to ensure consistent progress and a positive learning experience.
Missed classes are non-transferable and non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing by Viva School of Dance.
4. Health and Safety
Parents or guardians are responsible for informing us of any medical conditions, allergies or special requirements that may affect a child’s participation.
Children must wear appropriate clothing and footwear suitable for dance classes. Viva School of Dance reserves the right to restrict participation if safety requirements are not met.
5. Behaviour and Conduct
All children are expected to behave respectfully towards instructors and fellow students.
Disruptive or unsafe behaviour may result in a child being removed from a class temporarily or permanently, at the discretion of Viva School of Dance, without entitlement to a refund.
6. Photography and Video
From time to time, photographs or videos may be taken during classes or events for promotional or educational purposes.
Such content will only be used where parental consent has been provided. Parents or guardians may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us in writing.
7. Fees, Payments and Refunds
All fees for children’s dance classes must be paid in advance, unless otherwise agreed.
Booking deposits, where applicable, are non-refundable.
Failure to attend scheduled classes does not entitle the participant to a refund or credit unless otherwise specified.
8. Cancellation and Changes
Viva School of Dance reserves the right to cancel or reschedule classes due to unforeseen circumstances, including instructor illness or venue availability.
In such cases, reasonable efforts will be made to provide an alternative class or suitable solution.
9. Liability
While every reasonable precaution is taken to ensure a safe environment, participation in dance classes is at the child’s own risk.
Viva School of Dance shall not be held liable for any injury, loss or damage sustained during classes, except where required by Irish law.
10. Privacy
Personal data relating to children and parents is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.
We collect only the information necessary to provide our services and ensure the safety and wellbeing of participants.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this website and will take effect immediately.
Continued participation in children’s classes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Ireland.
